For our client, a multinational corporation within industrial machinery and solutions, we are currently seeking a skilled professional and highly motivated (Senior) Sales Representative that has experience and existing networks in Indonesia's advanced plastic recycling market to drive growths in Indonesia.

About the client

For our client, a multinational corporation within industrial machinery and solutions, we are currently seeking a skilled professional and highly motivated (Senior) Sales Representative that has experience and existing networks in Indonesia's advanced plastic recycling market to drive growths in Indonesia.

About the role

This role offers a pivotal opportunity to drive the adoption of sustainable plastic recycling solutions in Indonesia, contributing to a greener future while accelerating industry growth. As a key player in a dynamic market, you will shape innovative strategies and build impactful partnerships to lead the transformation of recycling practices.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the identification and development of new business opportunities for plastic recycling solutions in Indonesia, with a focus on PET and polyolefins
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the recycling industry
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify industry trends and customer needs
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed defined sales targets
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers throughout the sales process
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts effectively
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful execution of projects

Requirements

  • Proven track record in the plastic recycling industry; experience with washing or pelletizing equipment, sorters, or related machinery is highly advantageous
  • Solid understanding of plastic recycling technologies and processes
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing impactful sales strategies
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a strong commitment to achieving targets
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse audiences
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in high-pressure environments
  • Experience operating in multicultural settings, with cultural sensitivity and adaptability
  • Highly dynamic, goal-focused, and equipped with a strong sense of accountability
  • Effective team player with a disciplined and organized approach to work
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and other standard business software
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; knowledge of Mandarin is a valuable asset but not mandatory

Additional Information

  • Reporting to: Division Manager
  • Possible starting/ onboarding date: ASAP
  • Monthly basic gross salary: Up to IDR 32.000.000 (depending on work experience)
