About the role
As a (Senior) Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-performance digital printing systems used in flexible packaging and commercial print production. You will collaborate with both local and international experts and engage directly with customers to ensure their digital printing operations run at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install and configure digital printing systems in accordance with detailed technical documentation
- Support customers during system integration, start-up, and acceptance testing
Maintenance & Technical Support
- Conduct preventive maintenance and perform repairs to minimize downtime
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues, both on-site and remotely
- Coordinate with global technical support teams for advanced troubleshooting and escalation
Customer Engagement & Training
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to customers on operation, maintenance, and best practices
- Cultivate strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Reporting & Collaboration
- Document service activities and submit detailed reports to internal stakeholders
- Participate in service planning meetings and contribute insights from customer interactions
- Identify potential upgrade opportunities or aftermarket service needs
Parts & Upgrades
- Recommend critical spare parts inventory and upgrade paths to optimize equipment performance
- Ensure efficient and cost-conscious use of tools and components
Your Profile
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in digital printing systems or similar capital equipment (e.g., automation, graphic technology, packaging machinery)
- Strong analytical and hands-on troubleshooting skills (both mechanical and electrical)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Independent, well-organized, and customer focused
- Professional demeanour and a high sense of responsibility in client-facing roles
- Willing to travel extensively across Indonesia and occasional international trips, sometimes on short notice
Additional Information
- Possible starting/ onboarding date: As soon as possible
- Monthly Gross salary ranges up to IDR 15.000.000 (depending on work experience)
