For our client, a multinational European corporation, we are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead business development and client acquisition activities in the Pharma, Food & Beverage Packaging sector across Indonesia. This role plays a key part in expanding their market presence and directly contributes to the company’s ongoing growth and success.

About the role

As a Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of the sales cycle — from identifying prospects to closing deals — while building long-term client partnerships and driving market expansion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet complex customer needs. The right candidate is responsible to achieve a profitable revenue and market growth for Industrial Packaging Solutions in the Pharma, Food & Beverage industry by developing and implementing strategies in line with the company´s vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities That Define Your Journey:

Market Strategies & Business Development

  • Create and execute marketing strategies to reach diverse customer demographics
  • Analyze market potential, identify customers, and provide valuable insights to management
  • Stay updated on knowledge, trends, and best practices in the industry
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with our group's vision and market trends
  • Direct and control department activities to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets
  • Forecast market trends and evaluate competitor activities
  • Cooperate and coordinate with Group Management Marketing and Business Development

Customer Relationship

  • Develop and maintain long-term positive customer relationships
  • Provide excellent service, meeting customer needs attentively
  • Anticipate and address questions, concerns, and future issues
  • Consistently deliver solutions that drive repeat business and increased sales

Sales & Target

  • Present, promote and sell industrial equipment and traceable packaging solutions for the Pharma, Food & Beverage industry segments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform analyses of existing and potential customers’ needs and offer solutions that address their needs
  • Visit key accounts together with sales team members
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions in line with company standards, rules and regulations or as directed
  • Achieve sales targets and quotas on a yearly and quarterly basis
  • Cooperate and coordinate with team members and other departments e.g., Technical Services,Engineering Operations, and sales colleagues from other industries, to be able to offer solutions that fulfill the customer’s needs
  • Calculate client quotations

Requirements That Define You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial machinery and equipment industry, ideally Pharma, F&B, Packaging Solutions or equivalent
  • English (Full working proficiency – written and spoken, Bahasa (fluent or native level)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Effective planning, analytical and implementation skills
  • Goal-oriented, dynamic, and high sense of responsibility
  • Readiness to travel frequently locally and overseas (occasionally)

Additional Information

  • Reporting to: Division Manager
  • Possible starting/ onboarding date: ASAP
  • Monthly basic gross salary: Up to IDR 30.000.000 (depending on work experience)
  • Additional Allowances (e.g. Transportation, mobile)
