About the client
We are exclusively searching a Regional Sales Manager - Southeast Asia for our client, a well-established German manufacturer with a premium, technology-driven portfolio. The company is now building its direct commercial presence in Southeast Asia, with Vietnam as the primary growth market, and is appointing a senior sales manager to own market development, partner strategy, and regional execution end-to-end.
About the role
As the Regional Sales Manager for Southeast Asia, you will be responsible for driving the commercial development of our products across the region, with a primary focus on the Vietnamese market at first. You will promote a high-quality portfolio of dental materials, CAD/CAM solutions, and digital lab workflows, while shaping market strategy, building strong partnerships, and representing the company across key regional stakeholders.
This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial mandate: high autonomy, regional ownership, and the opportunity to shape and scale the business from an early expansion stage, backed by German engineering standards, proven products, and long-term investment commitment.
Responsibilities
Regional Commercial Leadership & Market Expansion
- Own and drive commercial activities across Southeast Asia, with a clear priority on the Vietnamese market.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow market share for high-quality dental materials, CAD/CAM solutions, and digital laboratory workflows.
- Translate regional objectives into Vietnam-specific action plans, aligning sales and marketing initiatives to local market dynamics.
- Prepare structured sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses, including competitor activity, customer feedback, and emerging trends.
- Plan and implement product launches and go-to-market initiatives, covering positioning, communication, and market entry strategies.
Strategic Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
- Build, manage, and expand relationships with distributors, channel partners, agencies, and key industry stakeholders across Southeast Asia.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) at national and regional levels, with a strong physical presence in Vietnam.
- Develop close working relationships with dental laboratories, technicians, dealers, and clinical partners.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, congresses, professional courses, roundtables, and expert meetings throughout the region.
Technical Support, Training & Education
- Deliver technical and product support, including live demonstrations in clinics and dental laboratories.
- Collaborate with universities and educational institutions, particularly in Vietnam, to develop training programs, lectures, courses, and long-term partnerships.
- Expand academic and research networks to support scientific collaboration, clinical studies, and publications related to the product portfolio.
Performance Management & Market Intelligence
- Measure and evaluate sales initiatives, training programs, and partnerships using KPIs, customer insights, and structured project analysis.
- Continuously refine market approaches based on data-driven insights, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Your Profile & Experience
Professional Experience & Skills
- Demonstrated success in sales, market development and distributor management in Vietnam and ideally across Southeast Asia.
- Experience in Dental, Healthcare, or MedTech, ideally including CAD/CAM materials or digital dental solutions, with a strong understanding of professional healthcare markets.
- Strong numerical and analytical capability, with the ability to interpret KPIs, analyze sales data, and work confidently with spreadsheets and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, combined with an understanding of modern marketing practices and an appreciation for quality-driven, premium brand communication.
Language Requirements
- Vietnamese (native) and English (professional proficiency) - mandatory
- Additional Southeast Asian languages are a strong advantage.
Additional Information
- Reporting to: Global Vice President Sales.
- Possible starting/ onboarding date: 1st Quarter 2026.
- Monthly basic gross salary: Negotiable (depending on experience).
- Additional Bonus: 13th months salary + performance related bonus: Up to two month salaries.
- Additional Allowances (e.g. Transportation, mobile per actual reimbursement).
- Comprehensive Onboarding at the clients Headquarter in Germany (4-5 weeks).
